About Us

Mother’s Keeper is a digital platform designed to support mothers from pregnancy through the critical postpartum period. The United States has the highest maternal mortality rate among developed nations, and many mothers—especially low-income and minority women—lack access to timely care or don’t know what services are covered by their insurance.
Our solution offers three integrated tools: an AI assistant to answer postpartum questions, an insurance coverage checker to clarify eligible services, and a verified provider directory to connect users with trusted care.
By simplifying access to care and information, Mother’s Keeper bridges the gap between coverage and real support.
It’s scalable, affordable, and aligned with insurers’ quality goals, making it a powerful tool for improving maternal health outcomes nationwide.
Our
Story
Our Chief Strategy Officer, one of the co-founders of Mother’s Keeper, understands firsthand the anxiety that millions of parents face in the U.S.

“As a submariner, I was deployed for months at a time, completely cut off from communication. My wife was just days from giving birth while I was underwater, and I didn’t know if I’d be there to support her through postpartum recovery. Every day, I worried — what if something went wrong? What if she couldn’t access the care she needed?”

That experience fueled a mission: to make sure no mother ever feels alone, overlooked, or unprepared during one of the most critical times in her life.

Our Chief Operating Officer, the other co-founder of Mother’s Keeper, brings a global lens to our mission.
Having lived and worked overseas, she saw firsthand how other countries support mothers with accessible, high-quality postpartum care. The contrast with maternal care in the United States — especially for low-income and minority women — was stark and deeply frustrating. That experience solidified her belief in the urgent need for a platform like Mother’s Keeper.

Together, we believe that no mother should have to navigate recovery alone, and no parent should have to wonder whether their care will be covered. We are committed to building a solution that is smart, compassionate, and equitable — one that helps every mother access the care she needs, when she needs it.

Our long-term vision is to become a trusted digital companion for maternal health — one that starts with pregnancy and stays with families through postpartum and beyond. We’re starting with an MVP, but our roadmap includes doula booking, mental health resources, lactation support, and more — all integrated, all accessible, and all built around mothers’ real needs.
